But Baptism is only a beginning – the seed of faith sown in Baptism needs love and care to grow. This will require prayer and belief on your part. The Sacrament by its very nature is asking questions of us …. What do we believe? What attitudes and values will we pass on to our child? To help answer some of these questions, a Preparation Meeting is held once a month in The Church of Our Lady, Blessington, to which you are invited to attend. The publication Your Baby’s Baptism by Redemptorist Publications can also be very helpful and will be made available to you at this meeting.
