The group was established in April 2008
to pursue a range of social and cultural activities and has a formal
committee with Chairperson (Olive Boothman), Secretary (Carmel Calnan)
and Treasurer ( Valerie Hamilton ).
We currently have 30 members.
We meet each Wednesday in the Parish Centre at 2.30pm.

At recent meetings we have had a talk from our local Community Garda and we have visited the new local theatre. We have also had a talk on home security and personal alarms and a very interesting talk on keeping healthy and managing medication by Killian McGreal. In December we visited Arboretum and our Christmas dinner takes place on December 15th in the Avon Rí.
