We hold our monthly Talks on the 3rd Thursday of March, April, May, October and November. Two of our members have now finished transcribing baptisms, marriages and deaths from the early register of St Mary’s Church of Ireland which is held in the Representative Church Body Library in Churchtown, Dublin. The AGM is held annually on the 3rd Thursday of February.

The information was compiled by Blessington History Society in 2006. The project was assisted by Wicklow Rural Partnership Ltd under the European Union LEADER + National Development Plan 2000-2006.

October 21st, 22nd, and 23rd. The Back to Our Past show will take place in the Industries Hall, RDS Dublin. This was a huge success in 2010. It is a genealogy and social history experience not to be missed. Further information is available on the website www.backtoourpast show 2011.
